Recruitment Services Policy
Last updated 2 August 2026
This policy explains the standards that apply when candidates, recruiters and hiring companies use Recruitment Whales. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Verified opportunities
Hiring companies and recruiters must provide accurate information about each vacancy, including the role, location, material working conditions and any mandatory eligibility requirements. False, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful opportunities are not permitted.
2. Candidate participation and consent
Candidates control participation in recruitment opportunities. A candidate profile or supporting evidence may be shared only for an identified recruitment purpose and with the candidate's applicable authorization. Candidate data must not be reused for an unrelated vacancy, marketing, or AI training without a separate lawful basis.
3. Assessments and evidence
Assessments must be relevant to the opportunity and administered consistently. Results, qualifications and employment evidence must identify their source and must not be altered or misrepresented. Candidates may request correction of inaccurate personal information or challenge evidence attributed to them.
4. AI assistance and human decisions
Automated tools may help organize information, identify possible matches, summarize evidence or support communication. They do not determine guilt, permanently blacklist a person, or replace the accountable human decision-maker for consequential hiring or enforcement decisions.
5. Fair and lawful hiring
Hiring companies and recruiters remain responsible for lawful, role-relevant decisions and must not discriminate on a protected ground. Recruitment Whales does not guarantee an interview, offer, placement or continued employment, and candidates are never charged merely to apply for a role.
6. Communication and outcomes
Participants must communicate professionally and provide accurate status information. A role-specific rejection or unsuccessful placement is contextual and does not by itself establish misconduct or create a universal reputation score.
7. Concerns, review and enforcement
We may preserve relevant evidence and apply temporary safety controls while reviewing a credible concern. Consequential enforcement requires authorized human review and a reasoned, proportionate outcome. Affected participants may ask us to correct factual errors or review a decision.
