Terms of Service

Recruitment Whales operates a recruitment marketplace and operating system: candidates create profiles and apply to roles, recruiters source and submit candidates, and hiring companies post roles and manage pipelines. Features available to you depend on your verified role.

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate registration details.
• Recruiter and hiring-company accounts are verified by us before the relevant workspace unlocks. Selecting a role at signup is a request, not a grant.
• You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Administrative accounts must keep multi-factor authentication enabled.
• You may not share, sell or transfer your account, or attempt to access data or workspaces belonging to another role or organisation.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful job adverts or profiles.
• Scrape, bulk-export or resell candidate or client data from the platform.
• Circumvent fees by contracting directly with a candidate introduced through us.
• Upload malware, probe our security, or interfere with the service's operation.
• Use automated agents or API access beyond the limits we publish.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund.

You keep ownership of your CV and profile. By applying, you authorise us to share your profile with the relevant hiring companies and recruiters. We do not charge candidates for applying to roles. Paid concierge services, where purchased, are described at the point of sale. We make no guarantee of employment or interview outcomes.

Placement fees, subscription tiers and one-off charges are those shown in your billing workspace at the time of purchase. Introductions are confidential to your organisation. A placement fee is due when a candidate we introduced accepts an offer, on the terms of your signed engagement. Any replacement guarantee applies only as stated in that engagement.

Prices are in Egyptian pounds and exclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store card details. Subscriptions renew for the stated period until cancelled; rails that cannot auto-renew require manual payment each cycle. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.

The platform, its design, code and content are owned by Recruitment Whales. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for its intended purpose. You keep the rights in content you upload and grant us a licence to host, process and display it to deliver the service.

The service integrates third-party providers (authentication, payments, email, AI assistance). AI-generated suggestions such as matching or drafting are aids only and can be wrong; you remain responsible for hiring decisions, which must be lawful and non-discriminatory.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach, legal risk, or non-payment. Provisions on fees owed, intellectual property, liability and governing law survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
